HBO have just released the first official trailer for Game of Thrones Season 8.
April 14 is an exciting day for many – not only is it my birthday, but it’s also the day we finally (FINALLY!) get reacquainted with our favourite TV show, Game of Thrones. Fortunately we haven’t got too much longer to wait – and it helps that HBO have just dropped an epic trailer for the show’s final (sob) season. Watch it here:
The trailer doesn’t give much away—which will come as no surprise—but it begins with Arya talking about death’s many faces, and ends with what looks like the beginning of an immense battle between the living and the dead. We hear Jon saying, “Our enemy doesn’t tire, doesn’t stop, doesn’t feel” and, later, Jaime Lannister promising to “fight for the living.” Meanwhile, Cersei is told, “Everything you did brought you where you are now,” so it’s all fairly mysterious…

What we do know is that there are dragons; there are plenty of familiar (and worried looking) faces; and, of course, the return of the evil Night King. I don’t know about you but I’m already feeling emotionally drained from all the inevitable deaths…
Winter may be coming to an end IRL, but it’ll be back a lot sooner than you think.
