The GAIL’s iced coffee season is just about starting to defrost and now the ever-growing bakery chain has announced they will be making their airport debut this summer; right on time for our escapes out of the country during the warm season.
They will open up their new branch in the South Terminal of Gatwick Airport, which will become a 100-seat haven for those after a pre-flight dose of cinnamon rolls, almond croissants, and/or your preferred form of caffeine.

GAIL’s have assured rushing airport travellers that four ovens will be pumping out the famous cinnamon rolls around the clock to ensure you’ve always got access to one of the unmatched sweet treats at all hours. They will also be serving up a gift range including boxed preserves, coffee & tea selections, and crockery.
Speaking on the news, Tom Molnar, CEO of GAIL’s, said: “Gatwick offers a new opportunity to build on our mission of bringing delicious, nourishing and carefully-sourced food and drink options to more people.
“Though we’ve grown over the years, our philosophy has remained the same: to make good food that people love, and create bakeries that people want to keep coming back to. Whether operating within local neighbourhoods or near runways, our dedication to deliciously crafted food remains our priority. It’s also a great opportunity to showcase some of our local UK-based producer-partners to a broader set of customers.”
It comes amid the bakery’s latest expansion, with nearly 170 stores open in the UK.
GAIL’s Bakery is due to open up at the Gatwick Airport South Terminal in June this year – just in time for the summer escapes.
