London’s best-looking and most budget-friendly mini-golf course has returned to Canary Wharf, ready to inject some colourful competitiveness into the capital city this summer. Blurring the line between golf course and art installation, the much-loved ‘Minigolf by Craig & Karl’ has, once again, set up shop in Montgomery Square for the sunny season – and it’s completely free to use.
The picture par-fect golf course is perched amongst the plethora of skyscrapers and stroppy commuters, adding some summery fun to the east London landscape. The captivatingly colourful course comes courtesy of the highly-acclaimed duo of artists, Craig Redman and Karl Maier. Featuring the likes of playful geometric shapes, eye-catching colours, and striking patterns; it’s bound to be the most gorgeous golf course you’ve ever laid eyes on.
Minigolf by Craig & Karl has been designed to be enjoyed by all ages and skill levels. It’s tricky enough that it provides a bit of a challenge for the more experienced putters, but not so tricky that nearby buildings are at risk of having a golf club frustratedly flung through their window, you know?
It won’t cost you a penny to use and you don’t even need to book in advance. Just turn up, head on over to one of the stewards, grab your equipment, and have an absolutely ball. It’s certainly nice to know that there are still things to do in London that won’t set you back the cost of a small mortgage, hey?
