Summer vibes are back in session, and come rain or shine, there’s a brand-new, outdoor foodie experience that’s completely transformed the Coal Jetty at Battersea Power Station, which is located directly on the River Thames. Arcade Food Hall is famed for being the incredible foodie-driven space inside the iconic redevelopment, featuring several fantastic stalls and restaurants that have been cooking up a storm since its inception.
Now, this fabulous concept has gone al fresco, as they’ve opened their summer pop-up on this historic sector of the Power Station’s history. Entitled ArcadeX, what was once a unloading dock for the site’s industrial past has become the go-to hotspot for the summer season, delivering new street food specials, as well as wine and beer on tap, fresh cocktails, and live DJs.
Expect spectacular views of our iconic river, as well as deliciously good vibes all summer long! Speaking of things that are delicious, there will be a handful of well-loved food classics and those previously mentioned specials. From brilliant bao creations to smashing smash burgers, empanadas to sensational sushi, there’s something to satisfy every craving at this new, riverside food hall.
Boasting three fully-stocked bars, a retractable roof, and a 350-guest capacity, it’s going to be a fantastic summer at Battersea thanks to ArcadeX, whatever the weather.
Cokey Sulkin, COO at Arcade said: “The Coaling Jetty offers a spectacular view of the iconic Battersea Power Station and is a truly unique venue on the River Thames. By bringing Arcade’s signature brands here we believe we will create an outdoor dining experience quite unlike anything else in London.”
ArcadeX is open from midday until 11pm, Thursday to Sunday and it will conclude at the end of summer. For more information, visit their website.
