Trailblazing travel tech company, Flibco, has been transforming the capital’s coach travel since it rolled into the UK last year. But it’s continuing to level up its offering and have just launched a handy new coach route that will directly link three north London locations with Stansted Airport.
One of the capital city’s busiest aviation hubs; the (technically not in) London airport is admittedly already fairly well connected, but this new coach route will make it even simpler for those living near Finsbury Park, Wood Green, and Enfield. As instead of having to head over to Liverpool Street to catch the Stansted Express, they’ll be able to hop aboard a Flibco coach (almost) right outside their door.
The service will run every 45 minutes, 24 hours a day. The full journey from Finsbury Park to Stansted Airport will take around an hour and 40 minutes. And whilst it may take slightly longer than the train, if booked in advance, it could be a fair bit cheaper. One-way tickets on board this new bus route will start from just £6.99 – officially making it more affordable than the pint you’re likely going to immediately sink upon arrival at the airport Wetherspoons.

The launch of this new coach route coincides with the government’s recently revealed ‘Better Connected’ strategy, which aims to help lower emissions and reduce congestion on the roads serving major UK airports. And it comes as part of Flibco’s ongoing expansion, as they have just added 18 shiny new vehicles to their UK fleet of coaches.
Steve Mills, Surface Access Strategy Manager at London Stansted, said: “Flibco’s new Finsbury Park service is a very welcome addition to London Stansted’s already extensive coach network and will provide passengers and airport staff across north London with a convenient and sustainable choice when accessing the airport.
“London Stansted is the UK’s number one major airport for public transport use by passengers, with nearly 50% travelling by coach, bus or train.
“These new services to and from Finsbury Park and Enfield, plus our growing and successful partnership with Flibco, will help us maintain and build on our proud track record as the airport continues to grow.”
