Time to make a racket about these Wimbledon screenings.
Impeccably cut grass. Polite ripples of applause. Strawberries and cream. Few things are as integral to the British summer as Wimbledon, and when the sun shines and tennis stars turn on the style, there’s no better place to be than Brixton Jamm. They’ll be screening the showpiece events – the men’s and women’s finals – with no pesky queue in sight, so net yourself some tickets now!
If you couldn’t get a ticket for SW19, I think you’ll find Brixton Jamm a smashing substitute. For instance, the All England Lawn Tennis Club definitely doesn’t have an outdoor beach area, complete with sand and beach huts for peak relaxation. Handily, there’s also a covered section and indoor area, because as we all know, the British weather is often the championship’s biggest foe. Whatever the weather, you’ll be catered for, as a giant LED screen shows the action unfolding shot by shot.
Naturally, you simply can’t have Wimbledon without Pimms, and that’s where these screenings get particularly special – for an hour of bottomless Pimms is on hand for you to toast the victor! (You can choose between bottomless Pimms and prosecco, or mix and match throughout the hour as the mood takes you.) A lovely lineup of street food traders will be on hand to keep you fed, and all that’s left to do is kick back, relax, and wait for the champion to be crowned…
