Have you spent the last few months gazing longingly out of your office window, dreaming of stuffing some clothes into a bag that will inevitably be too big for hand luggage, boarding a cheap Ryanair flight, and being whisked away to the Spanish sunshine? Because, same.
If jetting off to Spain isn’t quite in your budget (or your annual leave allowance) this month, let us point you in the direction of the next best thing: Feria de Londres. This much-loved Spanish food and culture festival is returning to London next weekend and will be transforming Wembley Park into a Spanish wonderland for two days only.
Next weekend (July 29-30), Wembley Park will be brought to life with the colourful carnival spirit of the largest celebration of Spanish culture in the UK. The festival will be jam(ón)-packed with the very best that Spain has to offer. We’re talking tapas, sangria, flamenco, siestas… well actually, there’s only two days to experience everything so maybe cut the siesta.
The festival will feature three key areas (two of which are completely free to enter): Market Square (a place for guests to explore on arrival, brimming with street food, bars, and a stage offering a plethora of free live entertainment), Arena Square (an interactive space where guests can partake in dance classes, workshops and family activities) and the Feria Stage (an exciting new ticketed addition to the festival this year where guests can enjoy an extensive programme of live music).
With food stalls serving mouth-watering paella, pinchos and croquetas, bars serving authentic Andalusian cocktails, and the broad range of interactive activities and entertainment spread across the two days; Feria de Londres has something for everyone to enjoy and is not an event to be missed this summer.
