The Farringdon nightclub’s licence was revoked earlier this year, due to an incident involving drugs and the death of two teenagers. However, the closure of the nightclub was not received well by many of London’s clubbers, causing a huge reactive campaign to fight for the club’s licence. After secret talks between the nightclub’s lawyers and the Islington council, it has now been agreed that Fabric will, once again, open its doors. This time, it will be to over 19’s only.
This is a statement released today by the nightclub, after the result of the appeal at 2pm.
