Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien has announced a solo show in London later this year. He will take to the stage of the main hall in the Barbican on October 16, 2026.
The show is titled ‘An Evening With… Blue Morpho’, which refers to the name of O’Brien’s upcoming solo album. On the night, the guitarist will be playing with a collective of musicians who worked on the album, including David Okumu.
Ed O’Brien took to Instagram in March to reveal details for Blue Morpho, which is set to drop on May 22. Alongside this, he announced news on screening events of a short accompanying film shot in Wales, which will be shown in London, Oxford, and Paris around the release of Blue Morpho.
Blue Morpho will be Ed O’Brien’s second studio album, following Earth in 2020. You can listen to the first single, the title track, from the upcoming record now.
Last year, Radiohead played their first live shows since 2018, which included four nights at London’s O2 Arena.
