London Literature Festival is no stranger to teaming up with a big-name curator when it comes to putting together the lineup for its annual bonanza of all things books. And this time around, coinciding with the Southbank Centre’s 75th anniversary, no less, they’ve got Dua Lipa at the helm.
Dua Lipa will be curating the lineup of the 19th London Literature Festival this year, which takes place from October 21 to November 1, 2026 with the singer also taking over the Royal Festival Hall across the weekend of October 24-25.
London Literature Festival 2026
As always, the London Literature Festival will put on a stacked programme of events and performances surrounding the written and spoken word. Though the full schedule is TBA, you can expect to see everything from workshops, readings, author talks, live performances, slam poetry, conversations, and much more across more than 10 days at the festival.
As picks for the curator go, this one couldn’t be more of a no-brainer. Dua Lipa has run her own book club, the Service95 Book Club, for the last three years, both on social media and through its accompanying podcast. It’s been a platform to hear about her own passion for reading, as well as listen to her speak with guest authors and those in the world of literature.

Speaking on the announcement, Dua Lipa said: “Reading has anchored me through every chapter of my life – from being the new kid at school in a new country to finding quiet refuge on tour. Curating the Southbank Centre’s London Literature Festival is a dream come true.
“I’m thrilled to indulge one of my greatest obsessions: books and the brilliant minds behind them. I can’t wait to dive into the imaginations of some of my favourite authors in one of London’s most iconic cultural spaces.”
London Literature Festival takes place across the Southbank Centre from October 21 to November 1, 2026, with Dua Lipa curating the event. You can find out more details at the Southbank Centre website.
