And we thought Eataly couldn’t possibly get any better…
When Eataly finally arrived in London this spring, we couldn’t contain our excitement. The massive food market boasts an impressive 42,000 square feet of Italian delicacies with more than 5000 Italian and local food products and over 2000 wines, providing the perfect setting for a day of feasting. And while one might think that a collection of 2000 fabulous wines is enough, we say there’s always room for more. Happily, Eataly has just kicked off a Wine Week (October 15 – 24), which will be followed by a Prosecco Festival (October 22 & 23).

Eataly’s Wine Week celebrates the beauty of Italian wine, taking visitors on a culinary trip through the country’s many regions. They can taste a variety of rare wines by the glass, buy bottles at a reduced price, participate in La Scuola workshops, and enjoy special wine dinners. The Vino Day Sale offers 20% off all wines when you buy more than six bottles between October 15 and 16, and the ‘Barolo and friends’ dinner at Cucina del Mercato restaurant invites diners to a special four-course meal paired with Piemontese wine (October 21).
The two-day Prosecco Festival serves more than 30 proseccos from 14 Italian producers, giving attendees the chance to taste and learn about the delicious sparkling wine. To go with the tipples, they can enjoy a line-up of curated Italian street food from the market, guided by a special map. The festival takes place on October 22 & 23.
