1. Camber Sands
Clear waters, undulating dunes and fine golden sand as far as the eye can see are what make Camber Sands such an idyllic spot, and why it’s top of our list of Easter holiday road trips. This beautiful, dog-friendly bay is also largely undeveloped, making it such a peaceful place to spend a day relaxing, especially before the peak season. A picnic, a windbreaker and plenty of beach games are all you should need to pack in your Enterprise Rent-A-Car to see you through the day – but there’s also a shop, cafe, and toilets there for when you need them. The quaint seaside town of Rye is just a ten minute drive from the beach, should you feel like doing a little exploring.

2. Thorpe Park
Far and away one of the best theme parks in the UK, Thorpe Park is a fun family day out that none of you will forget. But wherever you and the kids sit on the thrillseeker scale, there are rides and attractions suitable for everyone. And if you visit between March 23 and April 25, you can save up to £37 per person with an Early Bird ticket! Daredevils can get their thrills on the likes of Nemesis Inferno and Stealth (the UK’s fastest roller coaster!), whilst Dobble Tea Party and the Playground are perfect for those looking for something a little more low-tempo.

3. Norfolk Broads
Home to more than a quarter of Britain’s rarest animals and plants, the serene landscape of Norfolk Broads National Park is abundant with wildlife. There are many ways to explore the Broads once you arrive, be it on foot, by bike, on horseback, or from the water on a rented day boat, kayak or canoe. Along the way, you’ll encounter ancient monuments such as St Benet’s Abbey along with other historic houses, churches, mills, and museums. The meandering, interconnecting waterways are also dotted with riverside restaurants and pubs, as well as charming market towns and villages where you can stop for lunch.
