If you’re searching high and low for the best things to do in London over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, we might have just found the answer. London’s St. Katharine Docks is keeping the whole family entertained with an Easter Egg Hunt that ranges around the waterside location. And the best part is that it’s completely free!
Across the Easter Bank Holiday weekend (April 18-21), St. Katharine Docks will host its annual Egg Hunt. It starts at The Haven Building, where you collect your reusable egg box, and then ranges around the historic docks as you head out on a chocolate treasure quest.
Follow the clues, and you’ll find golden eggs and free chocolate scattered around the area. (And nothing tastes as good as free food, does it?) Along the way, you’ll get to check out the sights and architectural landmarks in the area, such as the Ivory House, Marble Quay, and the Coronarium. There will also be a prize draw on the weekend. One lucky Easter Egg hunter will win a free afternoon tea for four people at the nearby Tower Hotel.
We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the warm, sunny days will be back by then. And when the weather is lovely, where would you rather be than by the water? Throw in a family-friendly activity, and you’ve got the makings of an ideal day out. So, stop searching for things to do this weekend, and start hunting for Easter eggs!
The St. Katharine Docks Easter Egg Hunt will take place from Friday, April 18 – Monday, April 21, between 12-4pm daily. There are hourly start times for the Easter Egg Hunt.
