Though it may seem a bit soon to be planning your end-of-year activities, any Lord Of The Rings fans should have their attention diverted this way if they want to have an extra bit of magic added to the Christmas period.
A set of live concerts, celebrating 25 years since The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring hit cinemas, is going to be touring the UK & Ireland at the end of this year, with a huge London date pencilled in for November 29 at The O2.

Alongside the London dates, the LOTR faithful will be able to catch the action in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, and Birmingham, with each date offering a matinee and an evening performance. Once seated on the day, you’ll be able to kick back and watch the film with Howard Shore’s award-winning score played entirely by a live orchestra.
In London, the score will be performed by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, with Ludwig Wicki as the conductor, as well as the Crouch End Festival Choir and Trinity Boys Choir on hand to add even more musical layers to the celebration.
