If you’re anything like me, you’ve spent the last month listening to Dua Lipa’s latest track, Training Season, on repeat. And while the news that she’d be headlining Glastonbury was a boon (for those of who could get tickets), we hoped for a performance closer to home. Fortunately, our prayers were answered, because Dua Lipa announced today that she would be performing a special homecoming gig at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
It’s inarguable that Dua Lipa is one of the most famous, and popular, contemporary recording artists out there. And when her next album, Radical Optimism, drops, it’s sure to rule the airwaves and be heard absolutely everywhere. (That’s if the reception is anything like that which greeted her breakout LP, Future Nostalgia.)
And, sure, there’s almost definitely going to be another powerhouse, globe-crossing tour to be announced soon. But before that comes, she’s coming home for a very special performance…
When is she playing Royal Albert Hall?
Dua Lipa will perform at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Time to book that day off work?
When will tickets be released?
Tickets for Dua Lipa’s performance at the Royal Albert Hall will go on general sale on April 12 at 10am. Tickets will be available here.
Those who pre-order her new album ahead of its release will receive access to a pre-sale the day before tickets are released to the general public. So if you’re a big fan, it’s a win-win situation!
When does the new album come out?
Radical Optimism will be released on May 3. That’s just over 5 weeks away!
Will she be performing anywhere else in the UK?
Currently, the only other confirmed UK date is her headlining slot at Glastonbury Festival.
However, we’re fairly confident that she’ll be announcing a proper tour later this year. After all, she’s renowned for the scope and impressiveness of her live performances. They’re likely to be pretty popular tickets when they do eventually get announced!
