Dine On A Cosy Winter Terrace Overlooking The Thames

share on:

Le Pont De La Tour have launched an alpine-themed terrace just in time for the ski season.

Can’t make it to the slopes this winter? Don’t fret, because Le Pont De La Tour is bringing the alps to London. A lot of festive, wintery pop-ups have already packed up and popped down, but Le Pont De La Tour is just getting started. Introducing Le Lodge, their very own cosy winter terrace overlooking the Thames.

Cuddle up in a sheepskin blanket, and indulge in Chef Julien Imbert’s wonderful winter warmers, including Canadian Poutine and Tartiflette with Reblochon, lardons and caramelised onions. The regular Bar and Grill menu, featuring classic French dishes such as Moules Frites and Côte de Boeuf, will also be available on the terrace. It might not be après-ski as such, but rather la prochaine meilleure chose. (That’s ‘the next best thing’).

Get piste on a few of their specially-created hot cocktails, including boozy hot chocolate with whisky cream liqueur and Havana rum, and French hot toddys with Hennessy Cognac, orange liqueur, honey syrup and mixed spices. Oh and mulled wine, of course.

You’ll find Le Pont de la Tour at 36D Shad Thames, SE1 2YE.
