If you follow any site about London (we’re pretty biased, but we think ours is alright), you’ll likely see that quite a lot of pop-ups come to town. We might have just learned about the ultimate pop-up that truly falls under the “giving-the-people-what-they-want” bracket.
For dog-lovers, anyway, May 29 will represent a pop-up–or pup-up, if you will–shaped utopia, as the UK’s first ever Corgi café rolls into London to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Representing the Queen’s favourite breed, the pop-up have said all Corgis are welcome at the café paw-ty, and puppuccinos, playtime and “pupcakes” will be feature to make sure it’s a royal celebration
And, as they say, was it even a party if there’s no brilliant photos to remember it by after? Snaps of the esteemed guests will be available to download after the event, and we know these beauties will all be fabulously photogenic.
Organisers Pop + Park have said: “Breed-specific events are known to be the perfect way to socialise your dog whether they’re an excitable puppy or older pet.”
But if you don’t own a Corgi, and just want to come to meet them all in one place, do not fret. You can still get yourself a place at the hottest dog-themed ticket of the year. Book your spot here.
Each slot booked will last a glorious 80-minutes, and we can pretty much guarantee no one will be leaving their allotted time early. I mean, come on! It’s a room full of dogs AND refreshments (including cocktails). There’s even brunch and afternoon tea up for grabs, we hear. Oh, and tickets for the event are completely free!
The army of Corgis and dog lovers alike will be taking over the Refinery at Bankside on the Jubilee weekend, which boasts summery outdoor seating and a free after party…
Enjoy the Corgi Café on Sunday May 29 by booking your free slot, either at 12:40pm, 2pm, or 3:20pm, here.
