Resent paying hundreds of £s on your commute? Rather be spending your sweet, hard-earned cash travelling to somewhere a little less… well, a little less like your office?
Contiki, the fun-loving travel company, recognise this struggle, which is why they’ve promised to deduct the cost of your monthly commute from one of their worldwide trips*. As things stand, Brits are spending an average of £240 on their commutes each month, so Contiki will subsidise anything up to this amount, just as long as you can send them proof of what you pay to get to and from work.
2018 has been a particularly tough year for travel costs, with fares increasing by 3.4% across the country – the biggest hike in five years. Contiki want to make it easier for young Brits to do more of the travelling they actually want to do, like exploring the Rocky Mountains or backpacking across Thailand, rather than sweating profusely on the Northern line. Contiki run over 200 international trips which cover the entire globe, from Europe to South America.
You can redeem the offer over on Contiki’s website. It’s valid for any trips lasting 10 days or more, and only for the first 100 bookings made using the deal. You’ll also have to email the team at travel@contiki.com to share proof of your monthly travel costs. More T&Cs can be found on the website.
