When I say ‘Christmas tree‘ it evokes a certain image in your mind, doesn’t it? A tall, bright green, spruce or fir tree, adorned with baubles and all kinds of ornaments. It’s probably decorated with an array of Christmas lights. Perhaps it’s real, perhaps it’s a fake tree you’ve kept in the attic for decades. Maybe there’s a star perched on top. Whatever the image you’re picturing, it’s probably not quite what Connaught Village has in store with their Christmas display.
Connaught Village kicked off their holiday celebrations this year with the unveiling of their Christmas lights, and an evening of festivities. They also unveiled the latest makeover of their iconic neon-lit tree, with a display that they hope will inspire people to Give a Little Love. Decorated with messages of love in every language, the tree is now lighting up the streets and provides the perfect fodder for Instagram posts. It’s no ordinary Christmas tree, after all.
There’s more than just a tree…
Connaught Village’s festive celebrations saw guests treated to a delightful school choir performance as the lights were turned on. They were also able to take advantage of plenty of sales and activations at the area’s businesses. Adding to the festive feeling, the whole area has been festooned with lights and Christmas cheer. Love, joy, and festivity are truly in the air at Connaught Village.
New for 2023 is the launch of Connaught Village’s ‘Christmas Design Collective’ – the perfect one-stop shop for Christmas gifts for all of your design-obsessed family and friends. The shop features a curated selection of gifts that will be available until December 19, featuring unique wares from small independent brands. Among the brands represented are the likes of Hum London, Colours of Arley, Domenica Marland, and more.
While you’re in the area, make sure you don’t miss the Connaught Hotel’s gorgeous Christmas tree too. Two (very different) Christmas trees for the price of one! Well, there’s no price – just the cost of getting there…
