We’ve been completely inundated with the choice of open-air cinema screenings in London this summer. And choosing where to get your outdoor movie fix is about to get a whole lot trickier, as the HMS Film Club is due to ‘set sail’ in August. The ever-brilliant Rooftop Film Club have teamed up with the Good Ship Benefit and from 10th August will take a riverside residency.
They’ll be screening five of our all-time favourite chick flicks, including Romeo and Juliet, Devil Wears Prada and, very fittingly, Titanic. You’ll get the chance to sit back and chill out on the ship’s Hoola deck, as you sip on complimentary Pimm’s and popcorn (Tyrrells Poshcorn, in fact). Ladies will also have the chance to nab yourself a free makeover on board. The Good Ship Benefit is docked alongside the Victoria Embankment, with ideal views of the city’s iconic skyline and the London Eye. Tickets are sure to sell out fast (because, with Rooftop Film Club, they always do!). For more info checkout HMS Film Club’s website.
