Colourstream is adding a pop of colour to Coal Drops Yard.
With spring in full bloom, London has fallen head-over-heels for beautiful blossoms. And seemingly, there simply aren’t enough flower-filled streets and sunny parks to quench our thirst for flowers, because Colourstream has brought a load more to Kings Cross.

A ravishing red river, snaking its way through new shopping quarter Coal Drops Yard, Colourstream is the work of landscape designers Dan Pearson Studio.
Composed of geraniums and petunias in varying shades of red, pink, and purple, the floral installation brings a little bit of nature to what was a stylish, albeit very industrial, part of town.
Colourstream is surrounded by outdoor seating to allow visitors to soak up the views, and each Saturday afternoon, ‘The Floral Orchestra’ will play “flowery pop hits” from amongst the flowers. Erm, ok then.
Those it’s a temporary work – only in residence until June 30th – a new, permanent floral installation will be installed later in the summer, keeping Kings Cross colourful all year round. Bloomin’ marvellous!
