Sadly, this place has permanently closed.
Honestly, we don’t even know where to start with this place, because we’ve actually managed to find a venue that has it all.
Quirky coffee shop? Check. Cocktail bar? Check. Craft workshops? Check. Beyoncé themed dance classes? Check! Drink, Shop & Do in King’s Cross is the North London venue with a difference, that fills almost every niche there is.
They’ve even got a fab bottomless brunch that runs every Saturday and Sunday. Choose from two hours of unlimited Bloody Mary’s and/or Prosecco (both, obviously) and enjoy them alongside boardgames and bagels for just £26. This place certainly ticks a lot of boxes! Just make sure you pre-book on their website beforehand and bring a mate with you, because the deal’s for a minimum of two people.
There’s even a seriously Instagrammable Aperol Spritz Bar. Yes, you read that correctly: Aperol Spritz Bar. It just keeps getting better and better doesn’t it? OH, and loads of their evening events are totally free to participate in – as long as you come along and buy one drink – so you can make naughty nipple tassels to your heart’s content, without breaking the bank.
Learn the art of paper cutting with Poppy Chancellor, pimp your hip flask, or even enjoy a rowdy game of musical bingo. There’s literally always something going on… Seriously, I could go on forever! And as for the ‘shop‘ bit? Everything in Drink, Shop & Do is for sale. Like the look of your teaspoon? It’s yours. In love with a piece of their vintage furniture? Buy it! They sell affordable gifts and homewares from independent designers in their cafe bar, so you’ll never want to leave empty-handed.
Opening hours: Mon – Wed: 8:30am – midnight, Thurs: 8.30am -1am, Friday: 8.30am – 2am, Saturday: 10.30am – 2am, and Sunday: 10.30am – 6pm.
Price: This totally depends on what you’re going there for, but wine starts from £5.80 a glass, dance classes are £15, and hip flask pimping will set you back a fiver. So it suits a massive range of budgets.
