Central London may be on the way to boasting the largest Lego store in the world, but the latest arrival is something altogether a little more… fizzy.
Coca Cola have opened their first European flagship store today; not just for cans of pop, but for clothes — and you’ll find limited clothing, designer collections, and even a bar.
The new Covent Garden branch follows a successful launch of stores in the US, aiming to provide customers with a full-on Coca Cola experience. Customers will be able to sift through exclusive pieces of sportswear and workwear, on top of pieces made from recycled plastic.
Those on the lookout for Coca Cola merchandise will also be treated to monthly in-store drops of limited editions of collaborations with brands. Expect the soft-drink giants to link up with the likes of Lee Jeans, BAPE, Soho Grit, Herschel and many more in the near future. Plus, you’ll find limited edition accessories from hats and bags to reusable bottles to one-off designed collectibles, such as for Pride this June.
And once you’ve had your fill of browsing, you can head over to the refreshing beverage bar, serving up unique Coca Cola concoctions (I’m particularly intrigued by the “Mango Madness” edition”) and even offering visitors the chance to customise their very own can.
Michelle Moorehead, Vice President of Licensing and Retail, at Coca Cola said: “We have opened the doors in London to our first new concept store in Europe. This store is a chance for us to provide Coca-Cola fans with a premium array of fashion and collectibles, and fresh ways to experience our drinks.
“Through a collection of products made from recycled materials, it also gives us a great opportunity to share our sustainability commitments with people and bring them with us on our journey to a World Without Waste.”
