Vegan street food favourites, Club Mexicana, are launching a plant-based burger bar on Saturday January 26.
Club Mexicana are arguably the ones who first made veganism “cool.” They’re currently set up inside Dinerama in Shoreditch, as well as London’s first ever 100% vegan pub, The Spread Eagle. Adding to the mix, they’re opening a permanent vegan burger bar at Netil Market in Hackney. Visitors can get their hands on carby delights such as the beer battered tofish burger with tartar sauce, or a Mexican fried chick’n burger.
There will, of course, be an excellent selection of sides, such as fries with chilli-lime salt and hot sauce, and nachos loaded with guacamole, pink onions and salsa verde. Drinks will include Club Mexicana’s very own pale ale, as well as a selection of natural, vegan wines.
Opening on January 26, the new space will be junk food at its very finest: hoping to impress both vegans and carnivores alike.
Club Mexicana’s Burger Bar will be open at weekends from 11am until 9pm.
