After capturing more than 10 million viewers for its third series, the global TV hit makes its Proms debut this weekend. That’s right: ‘The Traitors’ has claimed its well-deserved tribute at the world’s largest classical music festival. Its spellbinding soundtrack, dramatic twists, and uniquely British blend of suspense have captivated our nation, so it’s only fitting that the series takes center stage this weekend.
On Saturday 26th, both a matinee and evening performance will be hosted in the Royal Albert Hall and tickets are still available!
Claudia Winkleman, a true national treasure at the helm, will be leading the intrigue live. But, she’s not the only Traitors’ icon in attendance. Miss Winkleman will be joined by some of your favourite Traitors’ stars, as well as former opera singer Linda Rands, classical music enthusiast Alexander Dragonetti, BBC Radio 1 presenter Minah Shannon–and many more to be announced!
Londoners, the suspense is high. Not in the castle, but the same atmosphere fills the Gothic Royal Albert Hall. The award-winning BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, BBC Singers, BBC Symphony Chorus, guest vocalists, and conductor Karen Ní Bhroin bring it all to life.
The setlist will feature classical music used in the show from composers like Einaudi, Tchaikovsky and Mozart. And ‘Traitor-Pop’ chart hits are reimagined with a gothic, symphonic twist from artists like Britney Spears, Olivia Rodrigo, and London Grammar. But it doesn’t just stop there. This concert will feature the world premiere of Sam Watts’ famous theme song in specially extended orchestral versions.
So, London—the cloaks are back on, and your musical invitation into the world of ‘The Traitors’ awaits. There’s deceit, banishments, and a huge dose of drama from the series. Expect the unexpected, decide whether you’re a Faithful or a Traitor, and, as always, trust no one.
