There is something definitely cool and kinda glamorous about fusion dining, and no, we’re not talking about eating Dominos and Chinese food in bed at the same time. We’ve created a list of some of London’s coolest and most delicious Asian fusion restaurants so get out of bed and come check them out! (See also: our favourite Japanese restaurants in London.)
1. Inamo
This super modern and chic chain of restaurants gives guests an exciting glimpse into the future of dining with interactive tables and iPad order service. Using the mouse-like pointer you can draw on the table, change the table cloths, spy on the chefs and even play games for when the conversation with your boring AF mate runs dry. The huge selection of food encompasses everything from sushi to curries to duck pancakes and we can say ourselves that it’s all delicious! If you’re feeling really inspired with Asian fever you can find a fantastic selection of Asian influenced and rather beautiful cocktails downstairs at Onyx Bar at the Covent Garden restaurant… Go on, treat yourself!

2. Asia de Cuba
Asia de Cuba is self-proclaimed as a marriage between Latin and Asian cuisines and we have to say, it is #couplegoals. Agonise choosing between the impressively fancy sounding mains such as mojo duck confit or veal vaca frita or opt for some small sharing plates to sample a flavour of it all. This trendy restaurant boasts long columns of books ‘cos we all know clever is the new sexy after all.

3. Bintang
Up and running for the past 25 years Bintang has always been ahead of London’s Asian-fusion game. Taking influences from a huge range of countries such as Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam & Philippines this Kentish Town eatery is ideal for anyone craving some Eastern flavours. Pad Thai is always a good option for those unfamiliar with Asian cuisine but we recommend the Korean chicken wings in Bintang Buffalo for a spicy sweet combination. Need more persuasion? This little gem is bring your own bottle making it perfect for a cheap meal.

4. Novikov
Slightly different to your typical ‘Asian fusion’ restaurant, Novikov is a fusion between Asian and Italian foods but unrelated. Can you have an unrelated fusion? Idk… but that’s what it is. With two distinct restaurants and two different menus, one of Asian food and one Italian offers diners that kind of ‘separate-togetherness’ that only Carrie Bradshaw herself could describe. The Asian menu offers both sushi and dim sum as well as a selection of rice, noodle and meat dishes.

5. Chino Latino
As the name would suggest, Chino Latino is a pan-Asian restaurant with Latin influences. With an array of dishes including small plates, bento boxes and sushi there’s plenty of food to chose from for you hungry Londoners. If you’re feeling a little cheeky, we also suggest indulging in one of their Latin inspired cocktails such as Maid in Cuba or Chino Lips.. Go onnnnn, we know you want to.
