Cereal ice cream? Sign me up.
The whole city went crunchy nuts at the announcement of a cereal bar opening back in 2014, but over the years, Londoners’ capacity for surprise has significantly decreased, and such oddities are now the norm. (Check out this map of London’s weird and wonderful food trends.)
Cereal Killer Café set the bar pretty high when they filled a gap in the market, but now there’s someone new on the scene. New York fashion label, Kith, is heading to Europe for the first time and with it comes Kith Treats; a bar with a cerealsy sweet menu.
Kith Treats offers a choice of soft serve ice cream, milkshakes or cereal bowls. Mixed into all of these will be a bunch of famous cereals, including UK favourites and many that are only available overseas. There’ll also be extra toppings to add, including crushed Oreos, Reese’s Pieces, Nutella and Granola.
Alongside many of the flavours available in their US stores, UK customers will also find exclusive new mixes, including ‘The Frosted Flack’ created by A$AP Rocky and ‘The Yellow Drop’ made in collaboration with Selfridges. You’d be a fruit loop not to go.
Kith Treats is open now in the Designer Street Room on the first floor of Selfridges, 400 Oxford Street, W1A 1AB.
