Ceramic Art London will bring its largest ever fair to Olympia London this spring for the 20th anniversary of the show, running from Friday April 19 to Sunday April 21. With over 100 different makers and artists on show, this will be the fair’s debut at Olympia London as it expands to the venue’s vast West Hall.
The creative makers were selected from hundreds of applicants by the Craft Potters Association, ranging from affordable artisan creations to museum-quality pieces. You can expect artists and creators from across the globe, ranging from Greece to Guatemala, and Korea to Japan.
The list includes Melina Xenaki, who has created exclusive collections for the shops of the British Museum, as well as the Benaki Museum of Green Culture. However, you can expect an expansive range of creators and artists that are causing quite the buzz around the kiln.
“This will be our largest ever fair and the new venue will allow us to increase the content and visitor experience. Over a third of our markets this year as new to the 2024 edition, keeping the fair fresh and exciting for visitors.” Toby Brundin, Business Manager, Craft Potters Association.
Speaking of, you can also expect a host of interesting speakers and interesting things to do throughout the jam-packed weekend, including wonderful workshops and their very first hands-on display of fabulous ceramics and pottery.
Visitors will be able to take inspiration from the breadth of form and function on display at this must-visit fair for crafty Londoners. So, whether you’re beginning your pottery journey or are looking to treat yourself to some mind-bending pieces for you’re home, don’t miss out!
