More flea market than traditional car boot sale, you’ll find plenty of interesting finds here, from quirky vintage clothing to Cath Kidson crockery and everything in between.
There’s also a café if you need a break from all of that rifling through – well, stuff – and if you want to continue your shopping, St Mary’s Car Boot is just around the corner. Entry to St. Augustine’s is £5 for shoppers if you arrive before 10:30am; it’s just a quid post then.

You’ll find all manner of knick-knacks here, from military jackets to vintage wedding hats and everything in between, so you won’t find it hard to while away a few hours perusing the goods on offer. Dogs (and ferrets!) are more than welcome going by their Instagram, and entry is just a quid – yep, you read that right – for buyers from 11am onwards.

5. Crystal Palace Car Boot, Crystal Palace
Another South East London stalwart, this spot – affectionately nicknamed the ‘Crystal Palace Boot’ – offers up an eclectic array of old household goods for you to rummage your way through on a Wednesday morning. There are no guarantees of what you’ll find exactly, but expect to stumble across antique furniture, vintage jewellery, paintings, used tools, classic books and much more besides.
The car boot sale itself is situated just a stone’s throw from Crystal Palace Park and around the corner from some great pubs and restaurants, so why not make a day of it?

Located in leafy Chiswick, this car boot is run once a month to help raise money for the Chiswick School Parent Teachers Association, a registered charity working to support the children of Chiswick School and help build closer links between families and the school.
Entry to the Chiswick Car Boot Sale is just £1 for buyers, and you can expect to find a whole assortment of both used and new goods here. All proceeds go to the school, so because it’s for charity why not shop to your heart’s content?!

Buyers and sellers alike can just rock up at the Denham Giant Car Boot Sale, and you can expect to find anything and everything under the sun to be sold here. Don’t expect to be able to cover it all in one go, but you can try your best! It’s three quid to get in for buyers before 10am, £2 before noon, and just a quid from midday onwards!

10. Shepperton Car Boot, Shepperton
The final entry on this list of the best car boot sales in London is the Shepperton Car Boot, set on the edge of Surrey’s Queen Mary Reservoir and near the film studios. Again, even though we’re cheating here and this isn’t technically London, we figured that it was a worthy addition to this list and worth the train ride out.
Once you’ve arrived, you’ll find warm and friendly staff, a relaxed atmosphere and bags of space, meaning you’ll have plenty of opportunity to have a gander at each stall without fighting off the crowds. Entry is just a quid from 8:30am onwards, and if you’re selling, the cost will be £12 per car.
