No doubt we all have fond memories of watching the historic UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 final back in July. Remember that? Watching the Lionesses take the country all the way to victory? Well, the women’s football action is well and truly back, as the Women’s Super League heads into the second week of fixtures. And Camden Town Brewery are throwing their support behind some familiar Lioness faces with their ‘Arsenal Corner’ fan zone.
A nod to the Camden Corner at Emirates Stadium, where the Arsenal-sponsoring brewery will be hosting up to 1,000 guests at the Arsenal v Tottenham match this coming Saturday (September 24), the ‘Arsenal Corner’ is perfect for anyone who can’t make the match. Situated at their Camden Beer Hall, on offer will be delicious food and super-fresh beer. There’s 24 taps encompassing well-loved options like Off Menu and Camden Hells, and small-batch brews from the Arch 55 series. And they’ve also brought back their all-female football table, so you can go head-to-head with your mates ahead of the match.
The viewing area is just the latest example of the brewery’s championing of women’s football. During the EUROs they hosted viewing parties, and even released the Goalden Mead Honey Wheat Ale in honour of Beth Mead.
Saturday’s match will see Lionesses Beth Mead and captain Leah Williamson hitting the pitch as Arsenal Women match up against Tottenham Hotspur Women. The first North London Derby for England’s players since the EURO win, the match is taking place at Emirates Stadium to accommodate the demand. Predictions have already been made that attendance records will be broken.
