Italian Alley is just the latest development to hit Camden.
It’s all change up here in NW1, and from our perch above Camden Lock, we see it all. A mere two months after news of the massive Hawley Wharf development was announced, we’ve got another shiny new thing arriving at Camden Market. This one’s a little heavier on the carbs; an ‘Italian Alley’ has just won planning permission, paving the way for a foodie avenue which heroes the cuisine of Italy. Bellissimo!
Italian Alley, which is billed as a food court experience, will operate out of four arches in the Stables Market, alongside an adjoining traditional restaurant. Each arch will reportedly hero a different food, which handily allows you to work your way along the Alley and nibble on a range of different offerings. It’s set to be open-plan, so you can have a gander at your food being prepared – and the freshly-made, highly seasonal nature of the dishes means it’ll be a different beast to the other food outlets at Camden Market.
Other details – including an opening date and exact location – are currently TBC, so that’s all the info we have for you right now. Still, keep your eyes peeled for a proliferation of pasta once this place opens!
