Feast under the stars at newly-opened Italian Alley.
Picture this: you’re sat at a table groaning with delicious Italian food, dining alfresco under stars in a gorgeous piazza, as candles flicker and music plays softly in the background. Now imagine you can get there on the Northern line. It’s not just fantasy, it’s glorious reality at Camden Market’s new spot Italian Alley – and you can book a spot at this delicious feast here.

Nestled in a series of railway arches, Italian Alley brings Florentine flair and Calabrian craft to the heart of NW1. Utterly delicious (and charmingly heavy on the carbs), this foodie avenue will host a series of mouthwatering candlelit feasts that showcase the very best of Italian culinary showmanship. Bellissimo!
Executive chef David Boglioli has prepared a menu of familiar and unusual Italian fare, starting with the likes of homemade focaccia tasters, baccalà cod and potato balls, and mini ciambotta. Your feast continues with mains of Josper baked lamb, brushed with honey and thyme, and tagliolini with butter, asparagus, and parmesan. Dessert, meanwhile, is a curious creation known as beer-a-misù, an outlandishly hoppy take on traditional tiramisù.
Happily, the atmosphere will be as delicious as the food, with mellow music and flickering candlelight complementing the mood – turning Camden Market into summer’s hot new dining destination. Handy blankets and a selection of Italian spritzes, beers, and wines will ward off any late-evening chill. Really, it’s just further evidence of what we already knew: when in doubt, go alfresco!
