Following the release of his acclaimed LP ‘I TOLD THEM’ – which was released back in August to rave reviews by critics and fans alike – legendary singer, songwriter and record producer Burna Boy has announced his return to back to London Town.
Where is Burna Boy Playing?
The date in question is Saturday June 29 at Hackney Wick’s London Stadium – which has seen the likes of The Weeknd and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers take to the stage over the past few months.
‘I TOLD THEM’ is Burna Boy’s seventh studio album, and features collaborations with icons like Dave, J. Cole, 21 Savage and GZA. It hit the top of the UK Albums Chart on its release back in the summer, and was awarded four stars by both The Guardian and NME – not too shabby!
It follows 2022’s ‘Love, Damini’, which featured the track ‘Last, Last’, which sampled Toni Braxton’s 2000 single ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough’ and topped the charts all around the world.
How do I get tickets for Burna Boy?
Tickets have just gone on sale this morning via his website here, and knowing how popular he is, they’re bound to sell out soon so you’d better be quick! The date in question also is Glastonbury weekend – so who’s taking bets that he’ll also perform at the festival? Pyramid Stage look out…
Where else is Burna Boy playing in the UK?
The London show is the only one announced so far, but given how things went with Taylor Swift, we’re expecting him and his team to announce more dates soon! Keep your eyes peeled on his website for further details here.
