Sun is out? Not for long! Make the most of it by aggressively showing the world you’re outside and soaking in the Vitamin D while you can. Take Brockwell Lido; they get the idea. One of the most outdoorsy activities one can do is heading to an outdoor pool, and the good folks over there are letting you do it for just £2 throughout the whole of March.
If you find yourself strolling around Herne Hill at a loose end one fine lunchtime, then you could do worse than swerving over to the Lido for a few lengths as you make the transition into the spring along with the seasons.
As you protect your coins until the summer, it’ll save you a sweet £6 to keep in the pot, and give you a healthy splash of water that you probably haven’t experienced in months. You’ll be able to take advantage of the discounted spots between 12-2pm on Monday-Friday during all of March, and it is advised that hopeful swimmers book spots in advance since it can get busy down the lido.
Brockwell Lido is 50 metres lomg, and the perfect way to get a dose of outdoor swimming in South London when it’s not the time of year to head to the beach. Though it’s still a tad chilly, swimmers will be pleased to know that the lido will be opening up poolside saunas to warm up in after taking a dive.
You can find out more about Brockwell Lido here, and book your slots at the pool here. £2 slots can be currently be found on weekdays at 12-2pm.
