When one door closes, another one opens – or in this case, when one BOXPARK closes, another one opens soon after! Following the closure of their Shoreditch site earlier this year, BOXPARK has now gone ahead and opened a new foodie destination – on the site of Camden High Street‘s much-loved food and retail complex, Buck Street Market.
The site has received a huge refurbishment and a ‘comprehensive renovation’. Breathing a new lease of life into the market, it’s a proper foodie’s dream thanks to a wealth of street food and drink options.
Passionate about championing and supporting independent businesses, BOXPARK offers the very best of food, drink and entertainment under one roof. Their unique approach to urban regeneration puts them in the perfect position to make Buck Street Market a huge success. And as with their other sites around London, and the UK, you can expect all sorts of fun events to take over the space in the coming weeks, months, and years.
Traders at BOXPARK Camden
As they settle into their new site, there will likely be even more traders coming to the space. But for now, here are the can’t-miss traders at BOXPARK’s new Camden market.
- ELIA – Greek street food
- Black Bear Burger – one of London’s best burgers
- Yorkshire Burrito – the famed purveyors of a Sunday Roast in a burrito made from a Yorkie
- Philippe Conticini – one of London’s most beloved bakeries
- Glass Coffee – maybe the best coffee in Camden…?
BOXPARK is certainly no rookie when it comes to urban regeneration. Their Croydon site was launched back in 2016, and since opening, has attracted millions of visitors and boosted the local economy considerably.
Ahead of the re-opening, Simon Champion, CEO of BOXPARK, commented:
“It’s an exciting challenge for BOXPARK to reinvigorate an iconic destination like Buck Street Market. It’s no secret we have a love of locations beaming with culture and community, and Camden is no different. Camden Town boasts a world of food, music and the arts that is just so aligned with BOXPARK’s movement and culture. We are committed to flying the flag for independent businesses across the country, and this restoration will allow us to continue this in one of the most significant takeovers London will see this year.”
