Dine on bottomless charcuterie and cheese at London’s TraTra bar.
Bottomless cheese? The dream is real. Basement bistro TraTra, which recently opened on Rechcurch Street, Shoreditch, offers guests a cheeseboard without limit – for just £10 per person.
Originally an attention-grabbing deal to mark the launch of the restaurant, this infinity-sized snack has proven so popular that it’s now a permanent part of the menu. And it’s actually even easier to enjoy than before!
You can take advantage of the infinite saucisson, chorizo, and andouille – selected by award-winning chef Stéphane Reynaud – any night from Tuesday to Saturday, either between 5pm and 8pm, or for a late night snack between 10.00pm and 11.30pm.
Yes, there are plenty of tempting, substantial dishes elsewhere on the menu: slow-cooked lamb shoulder or pork belly and short ribs to share, pan seared scallops, even a courgetti bolognaise for a vegan pal. But on your first visit you’ll probably be too full of smoked meats and Cabernet to care, so you’ll have to arrange a second visit. Which is probably exactly what they’re hoping for.
