Dine on bottomless charcuterie at London’s TraTra bar.
Bottomless charcuterie? The dream is real. Basement bistro TraTra, which recently opened on Redchurch Street, Shoreditch, offers guests a charcuterie board without limit – from as little as £10 per person.
UPDATE: Until recently, TraTra offered a bottomless cheese board – sadly, they have since discounted this offer. I know, we’re devastated too…
Originally an attention-grabbing deal to mark the launch of the restaurant, this infinity-sized snack has proven so popular that it’s now a permanent part of the menu. And it’s actually even easier to enjoy than before!
You can take advantage of the infinite saucisson, chorizo, and andouille – selected by award-winning chef Stéphane Reynaud – any night from Wednesday to Saturday, from 5pm and to 11pm (11.30pm on Friday and Saturday). One thing to note though: the £10 offer is only from 5-7pm. If you head along after 7pm, the price increases to the still pretty reasonable £16 per person. Which just means you’ll have to eat more to make it just as cost-effective!
At TraTra, the emphasis is on sharing food – which is a struggle, I know. The rest of the menu is dedicated to sharing platters, each with a different food theme – one for vegetables, one for seafood, and one dedicated simply to cheese. But on your first visit you’ll probably be too full of smoked meats and Cabernet to care, so you’ll have to arrange a second visit. Which is probably exactly what they’re hoping for.
