Dine on bottomless charcuterie and cheese at London’s new TraTra bar.
Bottomless cheese? The dream is real. Basement bistro TraTra, which has just opened on Rechcurch Street, Shoreditch, is currently offering a cheeseboard without limit – for just £10 per person.
Pop along between 5pm and 8pm any night (Tues-Sat) before March 14, and help yourself to infinite saucisson, chorizo, and andouille, selected by award-winning chef Stéphane Reynaud, along with the finest cheeses from Crèmerie Crouzet. Best of all, a bottle of house red & white wine is 50% off, making it just £10. Now that is the stuff I do like.
Yes, there are plenty of tempting, substantial dishes elsewhere on the menu – also 50% off during the soft launch – slow-cooked lamb shoulder to share, pan seared scallops, even a courgetti bolognaise for a vegan pal. But on your first visit you’ll probably be too full of smoked meats and Cabernet to care, so you’ll have to arrange a second visit. Which is probably exactly what they’re hoping for.
