Another Bone Daddies location is hitting London as they slowly but surely take over the city with their ramen craze and we are here for it. The new location will be directly opposite Leicester Square station, marking their eighth restaurant in London and will open on October 20.
This new ramen bar is only a stone’s throw away from the very first Bone Daddies location in Soho which opened in 2012 with Tom Moxon as head chef. After being appointed ‘Group Head Chef’ in 2022, Tom has now been tasked with overseeing the menu at the new site.
To celebrate the launch of their newest ramen bar, Bone Daddies are giving away 50 free bowls of ramen every day for a week. The launch offer is on from Friday October 20 to Thursday October 26 on a first come first served basis when doors open at 11:30am so make sure you get down early to nab yourself a free bowl of warming ramen.
What’s more, Bone Daddies are premiering their limited edition ‘K-dog Ramen’ at the new Leicester Square location for a whole month until November 20. The ‘K-dog Ramen’ special features Bone Daddies’ signature homemade chicken broth, smoked chicken sausage, cheddar cheese, kimchi, half a soy egg, spring onion & egg noodles, complete with a ramen-fried Korean corn dog on the side – it’s a feast for the eyes and the belly.
The opening of the very first Bone Daddies ramen bar in Soho ignited a ramen hype in London that is still burning. The brand has been renowned for its signature Tonkotsu and Tantamen ramen bowls more recently, the Tokoyo Cock Cock ramen options served in Bone Daddies locations. The group is also noted for its impressive creative ramen collab specials which currently see the ‘Cajun Boil’ lobster tail ramen with Soulful Seafood on the menu. Previous notable collaborations have included the likes of DEYA Brewing, Black Bear Burger and New York’s famed ramen legend Ivan Ramen.
Split across two floors and offering 80 covers in total, the newest addition to the Bone Daddies roster of restaurants is set to have a fresh take on a modern izakaya, a type of informal Japanese bar that serves drinks and snacks, whilst keeping with their signature style.
The new space will feature concrete and metal scaffolding throughout to give it that industrial look which will be juxtaposed with the red and white Japanese lanterns, a beer crate wall, and unique lightbox elements to transport you right to Japan.
