Is it bird? Is it a plane? No it’s… Batman atop of the London Eye. Obviously.
It’s clearly gone a bit quiet lately in Gotham City (until this Friday, we hear), since Batman has been spotted watching over the city of London.
In years past, we’ve felt his presence through the Bat signal hitting the London skyline in celebration of Batman day. Now, we’ve got a glimpse of the caped crusader himself.
As bleary eyed Londoners headed to work on this Monday morning, a sight of Batman himself may have been one of the last things they expected to see. That’s one way to kickstart your week, I guess!
It comes ahead of the release of the much-anticipated The Batman movie this Friday (March 4), which will inevitably see plenty of fans heading to the big-screens from midnight on this day. Playing Bruce Wayne aka Batman is Robert Pattinson, the newest of a star-studded list to play Batman including Ben Affleck, Christian Bale, Michael Keaton, George Clooney and Adam West.
We can’t say for certain which guise of Batman was atop of the lastminute.com London Eye this morning, but whoever was under the mask sure gave the city a memorable performance. And I’m sure Robert Pattinson will do just that when he hits the screen this week. Guess it’s back to Gotham City from that point then, Batman? See you next time.
