Banksy has just made it a hat-trick of animals painted around London in the space of three days, as the artist took to Instagram to reveal another new artwork.
After the goat in Kew on Monday (August 5) and the elephants in Chelsea (August 6), we are now treated to the sight of three monkeys scaling a bridge in Brick Lane, photographed as an Overground train passes through the tracks. As you can see in the photograph, it shows the trio of monkeys swinging along the wall, turning the line on the surface into a branch by a trick of art.

The elusive, Bristol-based street artist has been on a hot streak this week, taking to Instagram three times in three consecutive days to claim the works. Each time, the artist, whose identity has always remained a mystery, has sent the works to people’s feeds with no comments, leaving any meaning behind the works
We speculated yesterday on whether the animal streak would continue, and now it seems that the number of animals in each work rises each day, too. Will there be a fabulous fourth day of animal artwork with four animals on it? It remains to be seen – Banksy has never been easy to follow or second-guess, so the only thing to do? Wait and see.
The latest artwork is understood to be found on the bridge just before Grimsby Street on Brick Lane.
