A stunning new concert performance is set to take animation fans back to their childhood, as Avatar The Last Airbender gets the live concert treatment this year. An ‘In Concert’ series of performances will bring the music from the cult-classic TV show to life. A live orchestra will thrill concert-goers with stunning renditions of the recorded score.
Avatar The Last Airbender: In Concert will touch down in London for a special performance at the Eventim Apollo on October 17. Celebrating 20 years since Avatar The Last Airbender hit TV screens, the concert will range across all 3 seasons of the animated show. And attendees can expect brand-new sights and sounds. They’re teasing “new elements and artistic surprises crafted for this special anniversary edition that offers fresh perspectives on the show’s legacy.”
As a live orchestra plays the iconic musical scores from the show, screens will display highlights and fan-favourite moments from the show. The two-hour performance will still feature the original dialogue and sound effects.
This ain’t no ordinary orchestra performance, either. Featuring everything from “taiko drums and erhu to soaring strings and delicate woodwinds, the music comes alive alongside the adventures of Aang, Katara, Toph, Sokka, Zuko, and more!”

Emmy® Award-winning composer Jeremy Zuckerman, the creative mastermind behind the show’s original music, said:
“When I started work on Avatar: The Last Airbender, it was a dream to have the music performed by an orchestra. Now, over 20 years later, with the concert tour, that dream has come true in a way I never could have imagined. It’s profound for me to see the Avatar community of fans — so wonderfully diverse — come together to celebrate the show through its music. The atmosphere of joy at the concerts is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I’m elated that more people will continue to share in it.”
