January is the perfect time for slowing down and hibernating indoors, especially with Storm Goretti building momentum, and there’s no better company than a good TV show to sink your teeth into. While some of our fave faces have already returned, including the iconic Claudia Winkleman in The Traitors, and the highly anticipated Stranger Things finale that dropped on New Year’s Day, 2026 is shaping up to be a year with a lot of great TV to ingest.
With new episodes dropping from well-loved series like Bridgerton, Rivals and Line of Duty to brand new shows with big names attached, and nostalgic classics like Malcolm in the Middle returning to screens, there’s plenty on offer this year when it comes to our television sets.
