With a stunning panoramic view of London, we’d say that the fairly brutal climb for those of us who don’t have the proclivity for cardio is certainly worth it especially now that reaching the top means you’ll be at the best ice rink in the UK. That’s right, Ally Pally has managed to nab the number one spot as the absolute best ice rink across the whole of the UK and we’re feeling pretty smug about it.
British gaming site Amazonslots has released a new index study which reveals the best and worst ice rinks out of all 57 rinks in the UK. The news comes at a perfect time with the arrival of Christmas being very imminent indeed and London being in full festive swing, sliding and gliding on an ice rink is always a great way to get into the festive spirit. For those who can’t make it down in time before Christmas to the best ice rink in all of the UK, fret not as Alexandra Palace has their magical ice rink out all year round, whatever the season.
All ice rinks that are part of the study were weighted on ten different factors that affected their score which included the total number of TripAdvisor reviews, TripAdvisor rating score, total number of Google reviews, Google rating score, price per person, and whether there is a train station nearby. Coming in at number two was Billingham Forum Ice Arena with a score of 75.97, with Dundee Ice Arena coming in third, Linc Ice Arena in fourth, and Cambridge Ice Arena taking the fifth spot.
