The circus-themed Aeronaut in Acton is a one-of-a-kind venue.
While some boozers might opt for a small stage with a glitter curtain or perhaps a few tables out the front, this Acton venue boasts a full circus-style big top AND a carnival-themed beer garden. It’s awesome.
It’s a welcome return to London’s nightlife scene after a fire at the end of 2017 gutted the building and put the Aeronaut’s future in doubt.
Quite the show-stopper – but after eleven months of rebuilding, the venue once again rose phoenix-like from the ashes, and is open for business (and aerial acrobatics) once more.
The sign is once more glowing.
The garden’s is a’twinkling.
The neon’s gently buzzing…
And performers are a’dangling!
But listen, guys – we’re really not sure this is the best choice of cocktail.
Dan from the Aeronaut told us: ‘We were all devastated after the fire, but we had the most amazing support from the people of Acton, and our customers from across London. People even offered to house the management team who lived upstairs and lost everything. We felt so much affection from the community that we knew we had to rebuild the Aeronaut as quickly as we could.’
So, why not welcome the Aeronaut back to London’s alternative nightlife scene by paying them a visit? Dan says ‘we’ve got some truly talented people on the line-up and we’ve thrown in a few surprises along the way too…’
