Grab your cosy pyjamas and your shiny golden ticket, folks – because we’re off on an adventure. Where are we heading, I hear you ask? Why, to the North Pole, of course! That’s right, Londoners. It’s not just Santa Claus that’ll be coming to town this Christmas as it’s been confirmed that The Polar Express experience will also be chugging into the capital city, ready to serve up festive cheer by the carriage-load.
The Polar Express experience
Following a sell-out season last year, the much-loved locomotive is returning to London for another year of magic. The experience begins on the platform at Euston station, where passengers can watch the train pull into the station before climbing on board, heading to their lantern-lit table, and embarking on a one-hour round trip to the ‘North Pole’. The experience fully immerses passengers into the beloved yuletide tale, sure to put a seasonal smile on faces of even the grinchiest of guests.
A conductor will be travelling through the train, punching golden tickets as they do so, and a cast of talented performers will be on hand to entertain and enthrall throughout the journey. Of course, some dazzling dancing chefs will be on hand to serve up some delicious hot chocolate (this is the Polar Express, after all) – and each guest will receive their first gift of the season in the form of a silver sleigh bell to take home with them.
Passengers will be able to follow along with the beloved story and watch as some of the most memorable moments are brought to life. The Polar Express train ride experience is only in London for a limited-run. So, you’d better be speedy if you want to snap up a ticket. All aboard!
