Thousands of homes in south London and Surrey have been left without water or facing low pressure after a major water main burst.
Thames Water said the burst happened in West Molesey on Monday, 28 September, and initially affected up to 15,000 properties. The number has since fallen to around 6,000.
The company said a specialist team was working to stop water flooding from the broken pipe, but warned the repair would take “some time” because of the location of the fault.
Residents in parts of Wimbledon, New Malden, Raynes Park, Morden and Surbiton were among those affected. Thames Water said customers in Surbiton should begin to see their supplies return, although pressure may remain lower than usual.
The affected postcodes include CR4, KT1, KT2, KT3, KT5, KT6, KT7, KT8, KT10, KT12, SM4, SW16, SW17, SW18, SW19, SW20, TW10 and TW16.
The company said further updates would be published on its website.
