Yard Act have just announced news of a huge trio of UK shows at the end of this year, which includes a gig at London’s Brixton Academy on Thursday, November 26.
Prior to the London show, the band will play a show in their hometown of Leeds as well as a gig in Manchester. It comes alongside an update from the Yard Act that the band have had a ‘lengthy stint in the studio’, with news on their third record expected to arrive soon.
Yard Act’s last UK show came as part of a tour support slot with The Hives, which included a date at Alexandra Palace. Their last London headline show, however, came in 2024 at the Hammersmith Apollo.
The band also noted in their Instagram post about the shows that these would be ‘first of many’ Yard Act shows to be announced. Before the UK gigs, they’re also set to play shows at Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Rock For People in the Czech Republic, and Best Kept Secret Festival in the Netherlands in the summer.
A new record would mark the follow-up to their sophomore album, Where’s My Utopia? , which dropped in March 2024.
