Festival season may still be a few months off for us Londoners, but announcements are already coming in fast – making the wait all the more exciting (and unbearable!). In the wake of GALA Festival announcing the lineup for its return to Peckham, Wireless Festival is flexing its muscles with a hugely impressive first wave of headliners. Yup, that’s right, despite being packed full of superstar names – this is only the first set of announcements. There are even more acts to be announced!
When Wireless Festival returns to Finsbury Park on July 12-14, rap royalty will perform alongside some of the biggest and most exciting names from the global hip-hop, rap, R&B, trap and Afrobeats communities.
With tickets going on sale in just a matter of days (January 31) – it’s clear that you’re going to want to act fast to avoid missing out. If you’re a Three Mobile or Barclaycard customer, though, you’ve already got access to pre-sale tickets until general-release tickets go on sale. Just head here to nab those tickets before anyone else.
Who’s headlining Wireless Festival this year?
Kicking things off on Friday, July 12, is none other than rap royalty, her hip-hop royal highness herself, Nicki Minaj. Her headline spot will be accompanied on the day by special guests ranging from Future to Ice Spice, Sean Paul, and beyond.
21 Savage and the UK’s own J Hus will take to the stage for headline spots on the following day, with support from the likes of Asake, Gunna, and more. Said 21 Savage: “I’m so happy to be returning home to the UK and headlining Wireless for the very first time.”
Rounding it all out will be a powerhouse performance from Doja Cat, headlining on Sunday. Special guests for the final day include Rema, Tyla, Digga D, Uncle Waffles, and many, many more.
And, naturally, the festival will also see plenty of appearances from celebrated DJs and broadcasters for an event full of ‘I was there‘ moments.
