You know London’s well and truly getting into the Christmas spirit when Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland opens its doors once more. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the seasonal festival will be open to the public every day (apart from Christmas Day) from Friday 18th November for six weeks. As always, Winter Wonderland is free to enter and will be running a range of fabulous festive activities and events.
Amongst the classics, such as the winter market, the observation wheel and the Bavarian Beer Gardens, there will also be new attractions coming to hide park. These include the Magical Ice Kingdom, which is an impressive Arctic Adventure trail made using 500 tonnes of ice and snow, as well as an hour-long performance of the Nutcracker on Ice. For these events, you’ll need to book in advance via the website.
Remember – Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland gets particularly busy on Fridays and weekends, so make sure you plan and get their early if you can. It is open between 10.00am – 10.00pm daily. You can also check out alternative Christmas markets in London here.
