Few finer moments mark summer in London than marching through the gates of Wimbledon and entering a court to catch the action in the grand slam tournament. Falling at the end of June / start of July sweet spot, it comes before the overwhelming dread of the summer ending (read: right now) and the world of opportunity is at your fingertips.
In order to guarantee entry, however, your time is quickly running out… Wimbledon ballot for 2025 tickets opened on September 2, 2o24, and today is the last day to apply!
Of course, the famous queue is another route into the tournament, but if you wish to catch the action on Centre Court, plus courts 1, 2 and 3, you’ll need to submit your ballot application by tonight – Monday, September 16 – at 11:59pm. If successful, you will be notified from October onwards with details of purchasing your day pass to one of these courts. You will only be able to buy tickets to the court you have been designated in the ballot.
How do I sign up for the Wimbledon ballot?
Right here. Ensure you have created a free myWIMBLEDON account to be in with a chance of attending matches at the 101st Wimbledon Championships between June 30 – July 13, 2025. Singles champions Carlos Alcaraz and Barbora Krejčíková will be defending their 2024 titles (as long as their fitness allows), but there will be a vast amount of matches you’ll have the chance to catch across the two weeks.
Prices will vary across the championships, with a ticket to the highly sought-after final on Centre Court likely to set you back at least £255 and as much as £315, but a Court 3 seat in the first few days will be available for £55 – and your ticket also allows you to check out any game at courts 4-18!
The ballot for tickets to Wimbledon in 2025 is open now, and you can sign up here. Anyone entering has until September 16 to do so, and you should hear about whether you’ve been successful from October onwards. There may only be one ballot entry per household.
