Wet Wet Wet will be heading out on a giant tour next year, celebrating 40 years since the release of their monumental debut, Popped In Souled Out. They’re doing two main runs – one in February and one in October 2027, with their London show coming on October 12, 2027.
Wet Wet Wet are playing more than 40 shows across Britain to recognise the landmark birthday of their breakthrough album, which comes off the back of their first European tour in over 25 years.
Wet Wet Wet have been in the news for another reason this week, as their song Love Is All Around, which actually came out in 1994 and wasn’t on their debut, was surpassed in terms of number of weeks at number one. Sam Fender & Olivia Dean’s Rein Me In surpassed the hit with 16 weeks on top, but it just goes to show how incredible it is that Love Is All Around has remained up there for so long!
Popped In Souled Out has its own chart history, having spent over 70 weeks in the UK album charts, and featuring the hits, Wishing I Was Lucky, Sweet Little Mystery, Angel Eyes, and Temptation.
When are tickets on sale for Wet Wet Wet’s Popped In Souled Out tour?
Tickets for the majority of dates are already on sale now, but there are still spots available and plenty of time to grab tickets for the shows, particularly since many aren’t happening for more than a year! For the new dates in Frome and Northampton, you’ll be able to pick them up from this Friday, July 17 at 10am.
